“When I decided to study business, Católica Lisbon was my choice for its quality and reputation.

At Católica I developed many skills and had great experiences. Among its strengths, I highlight the focus on soft skills and on problem-solving, the international environment, and the high standards. In fact, I feel that all these things prepared me for any professional challenge and to face life with confidence and success.

While at university, I developed an international perspective, as well as interest and ease in dealing with different cultures, which made me want to try living and working abroad. After my graduation, I moved to Brazil and worked there for over 4 years in commercial and marketing roles.

Back in Portugal, I switched to finance and since then I have been working in the field of actuarial science. Now I am excited about what’s ahead, as I have just been transferred to Switzerland.

Looking back, I am grateful for the enriching opportunities I’ve had and now I know I couldn’t have made a better decision.” 👏
